3 Dec 2006 Bristol light middleweight Danny Butler ended 2006 with an unblemished professional record with a four round points victory over Swansea's Chris Brophy at the Marriott hotel in Bristol on Jane Couch's latest promotion.
The former Junior ABA Champion was following up his win over Martin Sweeney earlier in the year and found Brophy a tough, uncompromising opponent. It was at times a messy contest with plenty of holding by Brophy, but Butler saw it out to claim the decision from referee Dai Morgan.
