Pidgeon and Maclean win Bristol Classic

Gloucester's Emily Pidgeon and Southampton's Alistair Maclean were the big winners in the BMC Bristol Cross Country Classic on 19th November.

Pidgeon took 18 seconds off her Women's under 20 record as she won the Senior race in 13:41 ahead of Sophie Morris and Catheine Dugdale.

Maclean beat three times winner and local favourite Rob Whalley into second place and clipped a second off the Bristolian's course record at 11:40. Stroud's Dan Robinson was third and Lachlan Chisholm fourth.
