2008 British Milers Club Millfield PB Classic

Sportuk.tv's cameras were at Millfield School in Somerset for the traditional curtain raiser to the British Milers Club series with the PB Classic on Bank Holiday Monday.

It is the 14th year of this event and it is proving as popular as ever. This year the BMC reported a near record entry of 415 runners representing 71 clubs.

The key to the meeting is to see how many personal bests can be achieved. Provisional figures suggested that the 2005 record of 234 PBs had been broken with a new figure of 247. This is still to be confirmed officially.
